Dunford-Liscio (Ontario) Inc. is actively seeking a Mechanical Project Manager in Brampton, Ontario. The scope of this position involves full mechanical project management including project development, negotiations, scheduling, coordinating, and document control. Emphasis is placed on mechanical renovations within the Greater Toronto Area.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains strong customer and supplier/vendor relationships to improve competitiveness in the industry and promote repeat customer relationships and business
- Prepares and submits construction project budgets/ estimates
- Plans and prepares construction schedules/ milestones and monitors progress against agreed schedules
- Prepares contracts and negotiates revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and/ or subcontractors
- Implements quality control programs
- Represents the company on matters such as business services
- Prepares progress reports and issues progress schedules to clients
- Hires and supervises the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff
- Reviews and manages work/contracts/WIP/deferred revenues
- Anticipates and manages areas of risk and corrects deficiencies
- Establishes and updates schedule timelines with trade contractors
- Inspects and monitors the installation of work with trade contractors
- Meets the standards of Mechanical workmanship as required by contract documents and specifications
- Ensures project and personnel health, safety and environmental standards meet or exceed legislated requirements and company policy

Dunford-Liscio, our construction businesss, focuses on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plubming, insulation, electrical, and controls (mechanical services) where building owner are updating their buildings to current operating standards of efficiency or building brand new buildings.
Duinlis Mechanical Services ir our HVAC service business. We are a leader in providing preventative maintenance for commercial buildings, reducing frequency and costs of repairs and extending the life of the mechanical equipment.
The Dunford Group currently operates in the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario from our base in Brampton, Ontario.
Education / Experience Requirements:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or college diploma in construction technology / Project Management desired
- CAD/CAM proficiency, BIM experience preferred
- Proficiency In Microsoft office software including Word. Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
- Hands-on HVAC experience
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and vehicle required
