Our Project Manager is involved in all aspects of planning, and development of various projects, dividing his/her time as needed for turnover meetings with estimator and turnover to field personnel.
This position demands a team approach in project development. Input and feedback are extremely important during the takeoff process. It is necessary that the employee work and assist in a cooperative manner, utilizing their experience and knowledge to aid others for the overall success of all projects.
The Project Manager takes daily direction from, and reports to, from senior project manager.
Although there may be some variation and/or change in responsibilities as the company and your roll in it evolves, your duties as a Project Manager will include but are not limited to:
· Review of construction plans and specifications with an emphasis on MEP scopes.
· Identify any project problems including conflicts, interferences, errors, changes, etc. and recommend solutions.
· Provide initial review of new contract documents and verify accuracy of contract amounts and scopes of work.
· Obtain and manage the submittal process for Pro Metals/Pro Insulation projects and maintain a submittal log.
· Coordinate and expedite RFI information between Pro Metals/Pro Insulation’, subcontractors, vendors and GC/Owner.
· Maintain RFI log, track the responses and advise the job foreman of status. Generate CO’s if necessary.
· Set up project cost codes, track productivity, and attend monthly analysis meetings where each project will be reviewed, and profitability will be projected.
· Handle any warranty issues that may arise on the projects for which you were responsible.
· Work with General Contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to strengthen existing relationships as well as forge new ones. Always keeping an eye out for business opportunities.
· Development of change order costs. Maintain change order log with GC/Owner including change orders between our company and our subcontractors/vendors.
· Assist with billings. Collect billing information and amounts from subcontractors and vendors. Make “first calls” on aging receivables.
· Detailed tracking and understanding of job costs using the tools provided in the company’s accounting software.
· Attend job meetings and regularly tour jobsites to ensure firsthand knowledge of project status.
· Research and recommend solutions to normal project problems including conflicts, interferences, and errors.
· Collect job-related photographs for our records and use in marketing materials.
· The ability to safely navigate stairs and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. when needed.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
