The primary function of the Project Manager is to procure, plan, coordinate and execute HVAC Commercial construction projects in the Silicon Valley. The Project Manager is expected build and develop customer relationships to generate retention and new HVAC Commercial construction project opportunities.

What You will Do:
Complete or assist PX with completion of preliminary designs and scope of work.
Compile Project Submittals from the appropriate vendors or subcontractors and coordinate with Purchasing Agent to ensure correct pricing, delivery date, and other specifications are current.
Maintain organization of project with SVM’s provided estimating, engineering, labor management, and other tools to ensure timelines are met.
Work directly with field personnel onsite as needed.
Review Customer and Field directed design modifications, ensuring CO log is maintained and complete.
Complete RFIs, Submittals, Contracts and other documentation required for the project.
Schedule and forecast labor needed for the project.
Track labor, material, equipment, and other project costs.
Maintain WIP and ability to discuss report in detail.
Build relationship with Customers.
Maintain communication and with other SVM departments as needed for each project.
Complete Title 24 Acceptance Doc (LEED/Cal-Green).
Manage Project Engineer and Administrator
What it takes:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field required.
5-10 years experience as a HVAC Project Manager or similar role required.
Knowledge of HVAC Systems required.
Ability to manage projects that range from $30,000 - $5,000,0000.
Maintains professionalism when working with SVM employees, vendors, and customers.
Ability to work within a team environment, maintain organization and meet deadlines.
Ability to problem solve both in the office and the field.
Must be accountable and strive for accuracy on commitments.
Strong customer service skills and able to effectively communicate both verbally and written to SVM team and vendors.
Must be comfortable traveling 50% of time in different weather conditions.
Must posses knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam and/or other design software.
